Resolutions

Select Resolutions from the main drop-down menu to see a list of available resolutions.

If base mapping has fixed resolutions, WebMap will automatically detect this and set the correct resolutions. Base mapping with fixed resolutions include:

• XYZ Tile Cache
• Tile Cache
• Google
• Bing
• OSM
• WMTS Tile Cache

Every time you add a new base mapping cache, click the Regenerate button to update the resolutions. You can also use this option when new resolutions are required.

Base mapping without fixed resolutions (like the ones listed below) can be edited in the admin page:

• WMS
• WMS from capabilities
• WFS

Note: Resolutions CANNOT be edited for Bing or Google maps as they are hard coded into Open Layers.
