Set Help Location

Applicability:

• Cadcorp SIS ActiveX Manager
• Cadcorp SIS ActiveX Viewer

Description:

 Set Help Location sets the location of the online help, e.g. to a local URL instead of the default web-based help.

Setting the Help location

Cadcorp will supply the Help as a zip file.

Unzip the zip file and add the en folder to C:\inetpub\wwwroot.

In IIS convert the en folder to an Application:

In SIS open the Set Help Location command.

The Online Help Location dialog will be displayed:

Enter the location of the help, for example if hosted locally this would be: http://localhost/en/.

Click OK.

When you press the SIS Help button or press F1 the Help will be displayed in your browser window.

Note: Hosting the Help in this way means it will not be kept up to date as it would be if the default web-based Help was used.
