Properties shows the numerical values of the current 3D view using a dialog.
You can setup the 3D view in terms of an eye position and direction. The direction is specified using an angle and elevation.
You can also set the perspective angle, or cone of view, and control the various 3D modes.
This command allows you to see and change how the graphics are drawn, and also the viewing parameters (eye location, angle, elevation and cone of vision).
Graphics
Wireline
Check the Wireline tickbox to make any drape present invisible. This allows you to view your data using a wireline model. Uncheck the tickbox to make the drape visible and your model displayed with solid colour.

Smooth shading
The following diagram shows the different combinations of the Smooth property and the Smooth shading options for the display of TINs.
Texture mapping
Texture mapping allows you to make a draped image invisible and to view your model with solid colour.
Texture mapping on (tickbox checked):
Texture mapping off (tickbox unchecked)::
Lighting
Check the Lighting tickbox if the items should be lit by a directional light in the 3D window.
Generalisation - Coarse ..... Fine
The slider controls the level of faceting for curves, e.g. for drawing circular Polygons in a 3D Window.
The faceting is also sensitive to other parameters such as model extents, and the distance from the Eye point to the Look point.
Eye
Sets the current eye position, i.e. where to look from.
Angle
Sets the viewing angle, about the vertical (Z) axis.
Elevation
Sets the viewing elevation, above or below the XY plane.
Cone
Sets the perspective viewing angle.
Light Tilt
Tilts the 3D light.
