Timeline... controls the temporal properties of a dataset.
The Timeline command can be used on Cadcorp OS MasterMap database (ODB), GRIB or netCDF datasets (provided they have a time dimension defined). You can use a slide bar to track the changes in the data over time.
Example:
Consider a dataset (network Common Data Form (.nc)) showing sea temperatures between specified start and end dates:
Clicking Timeline... will display the Dataset Timeline dialog:
Start /End
The first and last available times in the timeline.
The slide bar gives steps between the start and end positions.
Current
The currently selected time.
Replay rate (ms)
An optional delay between each time position.
Play
Plays the timeline from start to finish.
Loop
Repeatedly runs through the timeline.
For a Cadcorp OS MasterMap database (ODB), with COUs applied, the Timeline command will create a timeline showing changes in data at the time each COU was applied.
