Euronav Geographic eXchange Format (*.gxf)

This is an ASCII text based format for vector chart data.  It is primarily designed for the representation of marine data. 

The format consists of a header file with the extension *.GXF and a sub folder of files containing the chart or charts.  These have sequentially numbered numeric extensions e.g. *.001,  *.002.

This is a memory based dataset.

Lookup tables for various Euronav Geographic eXchange Format (GXF) values, e.g. colours, object codes are contained in the Gxf.ini file, normally located in the C:\Program Files\Cadcorp SIS\Plugins folder.
