This model has been put together by the AdV (Working Committee of the Surveying Authorities of the States of the Federal Republic of Germany).
AAA stands for AFIS ATKIS ALKIS
AFIS®GeodeticControl Station Information System
ALKIS®Cadastre Information System
ATKIS®Topographic-Cartographic Information SystemAAA:
This is the new mapping standard for Germany that replaces the old EDBS standard. It combines cadastral and topographic information in a purely digital format with object geometry put into a single uniform datamodel for the whole of Germany. This new model can handle data versioning (historic data).
ALKIS = Authoritative Real Estate Cadastre Information System
ALKIS is the part of the AAA reference model of the Working Committee of the AdV which will store the geobasis data of the real estate cadastre in the future. In doing so, a merger of real estate map and real estate book will be realised based on the schema of the core data applicable to all geobasis data.
The overall concept of the AAA model is a future-oriented action which takes account of the desires and requirements of the GIS customers. After implementation, an efficient utilisation and further development of all geobasis data of all the Federal States according to standardised IT structures will be made possible.
The standardised interface is based upon OGC standards for GML with an XML schema and potential update mechanism using OGC WFS.
This is a memory based dataset.
