DWF (Design Web Format) is a native vector geometry format developed by Autodesk. The file is highly compressed making for a document that is more easily shared. It is primarily used as a format to publish data for easy review of designs either in free viewer or even for web publishing.
Support is up to and including AutoCAD 2012.
