Ordnance Survey VectorMap District (*.gml;*.gz)

Ordnance Survey VectorMap District is a mid-scale vector dataset consisting of Points, LineString items, Polygons and Text. Ordnance Survey VectorMap District is derived from Ordnance Survey Landplan data and is suitable for viewing between scales of 1:3,000 to 1:20,000. Data is supplied in 5km x 5km tiles.

SIS can read both the GML and the compressed Gzip files (the latter without any performance loss). This means that data can stay in its compressed format, as *.gz files, and save storage space.
