Ordnance Survey VectorMap Local (*.gml;*.gz)

Ordnance Survey VectorMap Local is a large scale vector dataset consisting of Points, LineString items, Polygons and Text. Ordnance Survey VectorMap Local is derived from Ordnance Survey Landplan data and is suitable for viewing between scales of 1:3,000 to 1:20,000. Data is supplied in 5km x 5km tiles.

SIS can read both the GML and the compressed Gzip files (the latter without any performance loss). This means that data can stay in its compressed format, as *.gz files, and save storage space.
