Standalone licensing uses a combination of a licence file and a hardware lock. Both must be present on the machine for the software to run.
If the hardware lock is a dongle the licence file is explicitly linked to the dongle number, so they must be used together.
To allow multiple users to share licences that are locked to dongles the administrator can:
Note: The second point regarding multiple licences is only true if different products are used, for example it would be valid if a Map Modeller and a Map Editor are installed. However, it would not be valid if two of the same product are installed, i.e. two Map Modellers or two Map Editors.
