Google Analytics
Google analytics is a service provided by Google to report data about traffic on your site. Statistics such as the number of returning or single users, length of time on the site and search terms used to find the site are collected and collated. Google Analytics has been embedded into Web Map Layers 8.0 allowing administration to harness its power. This works best on publicly accessible sites, to enable Google Analytics you must do the following:
- Create a Google Analytics account from the link above, this will give you an ID.
- Open the Site.Master page in a text editor, such as Notepad++ and locate Cadcorp:GoogleAnalytics, and uncomment it.
- Replace "your google id here" with the ID given in step 1.
- Change the Cadcorp:GoogleAnalytics tags visibility to true.
- Save the changes to the Site.Master file.

Google analytics on internal sites
