Search TipsBuilding up the selection list
The selection list can be built up with several selection operations by holding down the Shift key as new selections are made. The Status Bar at the bottom of the screen reports the total number of items selected. You can use this technique with any of the other selection methods.
If all the selected items are all of the same class the Status Bar will report with the class name, i.e.
Selected: 4 (Polygon)
Selected: 2 (LineString)
If the selected items are of more than one class the Status Bar will show only the total number of items, i.e.
Selected: 5
