Set Help Location

User help for all Cadcorp products (including SIS Desktop) is available online here

You can however change the location of the online help (e.g. to a local URL/ intranet.)

Cadcorp will supply the Help as a ZIP file.
Unzip the Help files into C:\inetpub\wwwroot\en
Open your Internet Information Services (IIS) manager.
Click on Sites > Default Web Site. You can see the Help en folder has already been updated.
Right click the en folder and choose Convert to Application. (You will see a globe icon being added to the folder)

TIP: If you see an Add Application dialog click OK without editing any settings.

Setting the Help location

In Cadcorp SIS Desktop open the Set Help Location command to open the location field.

Enter the location of the help. For eg if hosted locally this would be: http://localhost/en/.
Click OK.

When you press the Cadcorp SIS Desktop Help button or press F1, Help will open in a new browser window.

Locally hosted Help files are static and do not reflect live changes. For up-to-date Help files check our online support pages regularly.
