Exchangeable Image File Format (EXIF)

Use this overlay option to index Extensible Image Format (EXIF) files ina folder.

Select Home > Add Overlay > Miscellaneous > EXIF and click Finish.

Use the file browser to navigate to the folder containing the required images.

Select the required folder and click OK.

The images in the selected folder will be loaded into a new overlay, located according to the geographical location of the camera when the images were taken.

Example:

Select a camera symbol in the map window, right-click and select Open-Link from the local menu to display the associated image.

The colour and size of the camera symbols can be changed in the Symbol, Scale and Colour entries in the Styles tab of the Overlays dialog.
