Cadcorp SIS ETL is a data-management tool and needs to consistently monitor a designated Import folder where files for the scheduled operations can be copied.
This can be an FTP-enabled folder on a hosted or external server.
The application also requires a PostGIS or SQL Server database (usually on a separate server) used for the storage of the processed data. It also runs exports as required.
