Installing the Address Loader

Address Loader is a unique application that simplifies access to the National Address Gazetteer.

Where to find the installation files

• Visit the Downloads page on the Cadcorp website.
• Select your appropriate version of Cadcorp SIS Address Loader 9; this depends on the version of Cadcorp SIS Desktop you have installed.
• To check your version, simply open SIS desktop and select View > About > Product.
  
• Now based on the desktop version, select either 32-bit or 64-bit of the add-in and click Download.
• Check your system’s Downloads folder for an installation file with the name Cadcorp SIS Address Loader 9.0.xxxx.32 exe or Cadcorp SIS Address Loader 9.0.xxxx.64.exe

Note: The xxxx field in the filename indicates the minor version number.

• Double-click the .exe to begin installation.

Installation Procedure

1. Ensure you have 'Administrator' rights to install software on your PC.
2. Launch the installation .exe, you will see this welcome screen. Click Next to begin.
   
3. Please take some time to read the licence agreements. If you wish to print the agreement press the Print button.
4. If you are happy, select the I accept the terms in the license agreement radio button and click Next to proceed.
   
5. Enter user details and click Next.
   
6. The default destination folder is C:\Program Files\Cadcorp\AddressLoader. To change this, click Browse to display the Select Target Folder screen and navigate to the required target folder. Click Next.
   
7.  You will be prompted for the License File. Use the ... button to browse to the location of the licence file. Click Next.
   
8.  When the licence has been successfully validated, click Install to begin installation.
   
9. Click Close when installation is complete.
   
10. You can easily open Address Loader from Windows’ Start menu.
