The installation file is included in your GeognoSIS folders. Remember you only need to install the desktop application physically if using on a different machine.
TIP: If managing instances remotely, we recommend using separate machines for Cadcorp GeognoSIS Manager Desktop and GeognoSIS server.
Check the installation folder on the GeognoSIS server to locate the desktop executable. (usually found in C:\Program Files\Cadcorp GeognoSIS 9\Apps.Desktop\Manager\ Cadcorp GeognoSIS Manager Desktop Setup 9.0.0.exe)
- Double-click the .EXE to run the application.
- This will install the required files for the current user into: C:\Users\user_name\AppData\Local\Programs\cadcorp-geognosis-manager-desktop.
- After installation a desktop shortcut will be created and another shortcut added to the Start Menu.
