Starting a new session

When working with Cadcorp SIS Desktop for the first time, ensure you carry out the tasks in this order.

1. Select the required map coordinate system (more on Coordinate Reference System).
   
2. Create a new SIS Workspace Definition (SWD).
   
3. Load the required datasets.
   
4. Save the SWD (File > Save).

Note: Not all these tasks are necessary in subsequent sessions.
