Sharing

Click Share to automatically convert the active mapping location into a shareable link.

Copy the generated URL and use in emails/messages or social media (Facebook, Twitter and GooglePlus). You can also choose to include the map pin icons and/or a shortened URL.

Note: Sharing is only available on the desktop site.

Sharing between a desktop and mobile site

The shared URL can be viewed on desktop AND mobile site if they both share the same projection.

For example, you cannot generate a URL in the desktop site with OS base mapping and then open it on a mobile device that uses Google base mapping. The URL will simply open the desktop site on the mobile device.
