OS Places- Quick Search Configuration

WebMap supports the OS Places API, which can be added and used in Quick Search to quickly and accurately search Local Authority and Royal Mail addresses.

You can search using a full or partial address or a postcode within Britain.

How to add the OS Places API to Quick Search:

  1. Sign up for a free OS Places API key - https://osdatahub.os.uk/
  2. Open the webMapLayersConfig.db in a SQLite database browser (usually located in C:\inetpub\wwwroot\SISWebMap9.0\App_Data)
  3. Open the Search_OS_Places Table and populate the record.
