Valhalla - Point-to-point

Point-to-point is used to find the distance between two points on LineString and Link items and the perimeter of Polygon items.

Select Analysis > Routing > Point-to-point > Valhalla.

Valhalla is a powerful open-source routing service for client-side routing applications and hosted solutions.

Valhalla is available as standard for all SIS Desktop 9.1 installations; Greater London and Hertfordshire are pre-configured.

Finds a route over the road network in an extract of the OpenStreetMap database for Greater London, using the 'car' profile.

Finds a route over the road network in an extract of the OpenStreetMap database for Hertfordshire using the 'car' profile.

When run, the result of the expression can be expressed in Time or Distance.
