Pasting text from other applications into SIS Desktop

Text from other applications can be pasted into SIS Desktop using the clipboard. Be aware however text will always be pasted at the centre of the map window.

1. Copy the text from the other application to the clipboard.
   
2. In SIS Desktop 9.1, navigate tot he required location.
   
3. Select Paste (Edit > Clipboard).
   
4. Move the text using Move (Edit > Geometry) or Move on the item’s local menu.

Text items created by pasting inherit on the default item properties. They will be drawn in the default font and size.
