Origin

All items have an origin.

• The origin for a LineString item is its start position
• The origin for Point items is the point itself
• The origin for Polygon items is usually the centre of gravity.

The origin for other items is often the centre of its rectangular extents. This position often does not correspond to anything meaningful but it is quick for the computer to calculate.

Origin is used in many places in Cadcorp SIS Desktop 9.1, in particular as the placement position for annotation graphics added by Themes.
