Search TipsOS (GB) ADDRESS-POINT (*.ntf)
A dataset which defines and locates postally addressable locations within Great Britain.
It is derived by matching OS mapping databases with the Royal Mail Postcode Address File (PAF file). The data is supplied in Comma Separated Value (CSV) format which defines point geometric data of a vector type.
Address-Point is contained within the British National Grid (OSGB36) Coordinate System and it is scaled appropriately for Urban, Rural and Remote areas; 1:1250, 1:2500 and 1:10000 respectively.
Within Address-Point each individual address is also allocated a unique identifier known as the Ordnance Survey Address Point Reference (OSAPR).
