MrSID (*.sid)

(Multiple Resolution Seamless Image Database) (*.sid), developed by LizardTech.

An image compressor, viewer (GeoExpress) and file format (MrSID) for very large raster images that enables viewing and manipulation of images either locally or over networks whilst maintaining maximum image quality.

GeoExpress SDK version 7 supports 64-bit and provides better support for GDAL and other third-party libraries.
