Geocoding is the process of converting addresses (like "10, Downing Street, London") into geographic coordinates (like latitude 0.1276° and longitude 51.5034°), which you can use to place markers on a map or position the map.
Click Home > Geocode/Gazetteer > Geocode.
This opens the geocoding input wizard. Geocoding operations can be carried out on any selected items or specific items on available overlays. Make your choice and click Next.
Select a relevant Geocoder and click Next to configure your query. Remember most geocoders are paid subscriptions services and may require a unique API key.
