MultiPolygon

A MultiPolygon is a collection of Polygon items.

In Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC), a 'simple' Polygon must be connected; this means although it can have holes, it cannot have islands.

If a region has islands, then SIS uses a MultiPolygon to represent it.
