If, when attempting to select a single Item, Cadcorp SIS Desktop 9.1 finds more than one Item exactly coincident where you snapped, the Select Item dialog is displayed.
This allows you to select the exact item required Item from a list of the items found at that point.
Note: You will also see this window if you give the ‘S’ (Select) snapcode when selecting.
Click the item in the list or click on the picture of the selected item in the panel to step to the next item.
Check the Automatic tickbox if you require this dialog to be shown whenever you snap on to overlying items.
If you uncheck the Automatic tickbox but subsequently want the Select Item dialog to be displayed use the ‘S’ (Select) snapcode when selecting.
Click Show in Map Window to display the selected item to its full extent in the map window.
Click Select to select the item. The dialog will now close and item will be selected in the map window.
