Supported Database Versions
Cadcorp SIS Desktop and GeognoSIS do not require a database but many customers use a spatial database to:
- Centralise their data holdings
- Provide the means to store and access large datasets, such as OS MasterMap
- Use the database for spatial queries and analysis (Desktop and GeognoSIS will automatically pass queries to the database where appropriate)
- Provide concurrent multi-user editing
