Get started with WebMap

Follow these steps to import data into WebMap and begin using its various mapping options.

STEP 1 Begin by creating a new map. This is the canvas on which other mapping layers are stacked. You can either create a completely new map or simply make a copy of an existing one. Related Topics Link IconRelated Topics
STEP 2 Next add the Base Layer. This means simply adding a layer and designating it to be the base. The most commonly used options are WMTS or WMS. You can have multiple base layers- e.g. OS Open ZoomStack (Light, Gray, Street, etc), Aerial Photography and more. Related Topics Link IconRelated Topics
STEP 3 Now start adding other layers to the newly created map. We recommend using GeognoSIS SWDs due to the more dynamic connection between layers and map. Related Topics Link IconRelated Topics
STEP 4 Customise your map using the Settings and Map Extensions. Related Topics Link IconRelated Topics
