A Digital Terrain Model, or DTM, is a method of viewing a grid or a TIN in three dimensions. DTMs are created by constructing either a Grid Item with height values or a TIN item. This can be viewed in the 3D Window. An image can be draped over the DTM, e.g. a photograph of the area, if required.
