Convert to Polygon

Applicability:

• Item Class: LineString
• Minimum number selected: 1
• Minimum item status: Editable

Associated commands:

• Append Line
• Convert to Link

Description:

 Convert to Polygon converts the selected LineString item(s) to Polygon item(s). The LineString item may be open or closed - if it is open it must consist of two or more segments, and will be closed from its start to end vertices by a straight line segment.

Single segment LineString items cannot be converted.

You may set a Brush for the Polygon which defines the area fill, i.e. transparent or opaque colour, and solid or hatch fill.

Open polylines and arcs can be converted to Polygons, their open ends being automatically joined:
