Note that new Plug-in Gazetteers could have been added to SIS since this topic was written.
Use Gazetteer [Home-Zoom] to display the Select a Gazetteer dialog:
Gazetteer Search
Launches the Cadcorp Gazetteer Search Add-in.
New gazetteer definitions can be added, edited or deleted.

Ordnance Survey (GB) MasterMap
Gazetteers from a Cadcorp Ordnance Survey (GB) MasterMap database.
Searches can be carried out for Topographic Identifiers (TOIDs), or Cartographic Text.
Ordnance Survey (GB) Locator
Gazetteers from an Ordnance Survey (GB) Locator Gazetteer file.
Ordnance Survey (GB) 1:50K
Gazetteers from an Ordnance Survey (GB) 1:50,000 Gazetteer file.
National Street Gazetteer
Searches a National Street Gazetteer file.
World Cities
Contains locations of 2000 cities and small countries throughout the world.
OGC Gazetteer
Acts as a client of an Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) Gazetteer Service, downloading location information over the internet from an OGC Gazetteer Service.
GEOnet Names Server (GNS)
Uses the GEOnet Names Server (GNS), from the National Imagery and Mapping Agency (NIMA).
