ERDAS Imagine(*.img)

Erdas imagine imagery can be either single or multiband in its type.

The usual extension is *.IMG. Datum and band information is stored within the header of this file type so it is usually unaccompanied by other files for reference.

This is a memory based dataset.

When exporting to ERDAS IMAGINE (*.img) the following Raster Exporter Configuration dialog is displayed:

Configuration

Pixel Size

This option allows you to specify the image resolution.

Image Width/Height

This option allows you to specify the output file size in pixels for width and height and the pixel size is in map units.

Compress

Compress raster blocks, True or False.
