Copy (Edit > Clipboard) copies the current view to the clipboard as a Windows Metafile (WMF).
The WMF may be pasted into another application which is capable of accepting Windows Metafiles.
When the view is pasted into another application, the graphics appear just as they did in the map window. That is, the application should clip the graphics which overlap the clipping frame. (However, be aware some applications do not use the clipping frame especially when printing.)
