Axes in 3D

Because SIS is a 3-dimensional system, it is possible to give 3-dimensional coordinates (both relative and absolute)

You may find it useful to position and rotate the axes in 3-dimensional space.

TIP: See also Current Axes.

The axes "spin" commands enable you to rotate the axes around the X, Y, or Z-axis (e.g. Spin X (View > Axes)

The angle you enter will be incremental whereas the angle set by Rotate (View > Axes) is always relative to horizontal (West to East).

Spin Z (View > Axes) is the relative equivalent of Rotate (View > Axes).

Most construction commands operate on the XY plane of the current axes. So by rotating the axes about X or Y you can easily draw on non-horizontal surfaces.
