S-57 Chart (*.000)

S-57 is the vector data based standard for hydrographical charts as defined by the International Hydrographic Organisation (IHO). S-57 is an approximation of the S-52 hydrographical display standard, supporting all levels of features.

It should not be used for navigational purposes. It is important that when reading in S-57 data, the configure options are used through the ‘Add – File’ dialog.

This is a memory-based dataset.
