FME software

Read and write support for Cadcorp's own data formats can be incorporated in Safe Software’s FME product.

These include Base Dataset (BDS), Feature Database (FDB), Object Database (ODB) and Shared Dataset (SDS) formats.

Cadcorp SIS Desktop users are licensed to use FME’s transformation capabilities free of charge. This enables you to prepare and share almost any spatial data for use within Cadcorp products.

Important Note: Cadcorp SIS Desktop will ONLY support FME version 2014 or later.

To activate this capability ensure FME is installed on the same machine as Cadcorp SIS Desktop. See also Adding FME.
