Decoding a Licence String

If you already have a Cadcorp product licence (if for instance you have inherited it) the licence can be decoded to extract information.

1. Open the Cadcorp SIS Licence Administrator 9.0.
   
2. Select the Licence Decode tab and enter the licence string into the filed. You can type or paste this in.
   
3. Press Decode to see the decoded values below. The licence string is NOT validated against the PC so any licence string can be decoded on any PC.
   
   
4. The Lock Mode is how the licence string is locked to the host PC. The value in the field Lock Mode indicates if the licence is Server Locked (locked to a RMS licence server), Client Locked, or Unlocked. The value in the Lock Selector must be matched by the host PC for the licence to work.

If this value is custom then a Gemalto SuperPRO dongle is required.
