North Point

North Point (or Create North Point in the local menu) creates an item showing the direction of North inside the current Map Frame item's view.

If you have not defined a north point when creating the print template use the Paper tab options to add it in at a later date. Related Topics

Select Paper > Annotate > North Point.

Or right-click and use the local context menu:

The Symbol which the North Point item refers to must be inside the special folder "*NP".

Before you can create a North Point item you must create at least one Symbol in this folder (use Create > Miscellaneous > Symbol).
