To select items in Cadcorp SIS Desktop, either choose Select (Home > Selection) (which ends the command you were already in) or end the current command by pressing the Esc (escape) key.
You can only select items if the overlay they are on is either Hittable or Editable (i.e. the status Visible does not allow selection of graphics).
Before you select items, you must end the current command if there is one in operation.
