Web Services - OGC
OGC services are defined and configured to serve OGC Web Feature Services (WFS), OGC Web Mapping Services (WMS) and OGC Web Map Tile Services (WMTS).
1. Web Feature Service
This service allows vector data to be served using the OGC WFS Web Feature Service 1.0.0.
To configure properties, click the icon. These are the available properties :
Privileges: Different levels of users (Administrator, Public and Guest) can be configured to have Read access.
Configuration: Information added here will be included in the WFS capabilities document.
OGC Metadata: To serve data using the INSPIRE Profile rather than the OGC Profile, tick the option on this screen. Contact Information added here will be included in the WFS capabilities document.

Web Map Service
This allows raster data to be served using the OGC WMS Web Map Service 1.3
To configure properties, click the icon.
Privileges: Different levels of users (Administrator, Public and Guest) can be configured to have Read access.
Configuration: Information added here will be included in the WMS capabilities document.
OGC Metadata: To serve data using the INSPIRE Profile rather than the OGC Profile, tick the option on this screen. Contact Information added here will be included in the WMS capabilities document.

Web Map Tile Service
This allows raster data to be served using the OGC WMTS Web Map Service 1.0.0
To configure properties click the icon.
Privileges: Different levels of users (Administrator, Public and Guest) can be configured to have Read access.
Configuration: It is possible to use the Tile Cache Service for improved performance. Check the tick box if you wish to serve pre-rendered/cached tiles at fixed scales, rather than creating a cache of tiles as the WMTS is used.

OGC Metadata: To serve data using the INSPIRE Profile rather than the OGC Profile, tick the option on this screen. Contact Information added here will be included in the WMTS capabilities document.

Note: You will see in this file that the coordinate reference system = EPSG: 3785 and scheme = Mercator. If you use a different (non-Mercator) coordinate reference system then you will have to use a different level scheme as well.
