FME software

Read and write support for Cadcorp's own data formats can be incorporated in Safe Software’s FME product.

These include Base Dataset (BDS), Feature Database (FDB), Object Database (ODB) and IDB (Read Format). The Write Formats include BDS, FDB and IDB.

Cadcorp SIS Desktop 9.1 users are licensed to use FME’s transformation capabilities free of charge. This enables you to prepare and share almost any spatial data for use within Cadcorp products.

Important: Cadcorp SIS Desktop 9.1 will ONLY support FME version 2022 or later.

To activate this capability ensure FME is installed on the same machine as Cadcorp SIS Desktop 9.1. See also Adding FME.
