Class Filter

The Class Filter uses each item’s class to decide whether it is included or not. The possible classes are LineString, Point, Polygon etc.

For example, if you only want to see or work with LineString items, then you can use a Class Filter to temporarily hide all of the items with class Polygon, Point, Text etc. Class Filter objects operate extremely quickly.

The Class Filter is used extensively in the Maps Control Bar for non-feature-coded datasets.
