OS MasterMap Highways Network allows Highways data supplied directly from Ordnance Survey to be loaded into SIS. This option should be used for initial visualisation of the Highways data. To build the Highways data into a single, topological structured bds file, the data should be processed using the OS Network Manager.

Notes:

OS MasterMap Highways Network also supports OS MasterMap Highways Paths data.
Exemption and Inclusion attributes are combined into a single JSON string.
Road and Street features are created as LineString Items.
Features that reference complete Link Item(s) are created as a MultiPoint Item containing the start and end points of the Link Item(s).
Asset Management, Rights & Restrictions and Advisory Information data are supported. In addition.
Styling closely matches the suggested OS (GB) stylesheet. NB SWDs created with the previous version will not open.

Select OS MasterMap Highways Network and click Next to display the Ordnance Survey MasterMap Highways Network dialog. Browse to the root folder containing the OS (GB) MasterMap Highways Network files and click Finish:

Taking as an example the OS (GB) MasterMap Highways Network folder that contains the following .gml files:

Select the folder and click Finish.
