Copying or cutting graphics to the clipboard

Any graphic or text can be copied to the clipboard using either Copy or Cut.

The entire current view is also copied to the clipboard in Windows Metafile (WMF) format, which is a generic graphics format which can be displayed by standard Windows applications.

Copy

Copy (Edit > Clipboard) copies selected items to the clipboard in SIS Desktop 9 format, storing pen and brush settings, etc. Copy can also copy 3D Windows to the clipboard.

Cut

Cut (Edit > Clipboard) simultaneously copies editable data to the clipboard and removes it from the current application. With Hittable layers the data is copied but not removed.
