Divide Distance

Description:

Divide Path places "tick marks" along a path (all or part of a polyline), dividing it into a number of equal divisions.

On selecting the command, the Number of divisions dialog will prompt you to enter a number of divisions.

Next you should indicate the start of the path and the end of the path. The path you indicated is then divided into the number of divisions you requested, and division lines are created.

The division lines created are double the length of each division. These lines are normal LineString items, and you may change their length by moving their grab handles.
