Description:

 Paste Special pastes data from the clipboard into the current editable dataset. You can choose the format with which to paste the data.

When copying and pasting between overlays make sure the coordinate reference system and scale of the source and the target overlays match.

Many applications (including SIS) place many different formats of data into the clipboard within a single "Copy" operation. The pasting application can then choose the most appropriate format. This command allows you to override SIS's choice of which format is most appropriate.

You can use this command to place a picture of one Map Window into another SIS Workspace (e.g. a Print Template).
