Split Horizontally

Description:

 Split Horizontally splits a Map Window horizontally into two equal halves, giving you two different views on the same set of data. You may then zoom and pan independently within either half of the window, the two halves behaving as if they were two separate windows.

If the Map Window is already split horizontally, then this command returns it to a single view.

Before working in one half, click within it in order to make it active.

To split a window vertically, use the  Split Vertically command.
