Finding your way around Notice Board™
Notice Board Page Layout
Columns, Notices and Layers form the essential building blocks of a Notice Board page.
These display units are created and arranged using the Notice Board Admin Interface.
Select Notice BoardTM from the What would you like to do? drop-down menu:
Add a Notice Board
Click Add Notice Board. A new board is now automatically added.
Click Edit to start configuring the new board’s options.
Here are the editable options for the SIS Notice Board:
- Enter a custom Name for the board.
- Select the appropriate SWD from which Local Knowledge will be drawn.
- The Projection of the Notice Board must match that of the Local Knowledge SWD. In the UK it is likely to be 27700.
Removing a Notice Board
To remove a Notice Board click the Remove button located below the Notice Board Name. Click Yes to confirm your choice.
TIP: Removing a Notice Board does NOT delete any associated Local Knowledge SWDs, Templates or Images/Icons. These will still be available in the Admin Interface for use in other Notice Board pages.
